Getting Started
How do I start using SnapBrief?
After installation, you can use SnapBrief in two ways:
1. Type /snap command in any channel
2. Right-click on any message and select "Summarize this message"
What languages are supported?
SnapBrief currently supports English interface and AI summaries. The AI can process content in multiple languages and output summaries in English.
How do I change summary format?
Click the "⚙️ Settings" button on the SnapBrief App home page to change your default summary format and preferences.

What summary formats are available?
SnapBrief offers 3 summary formats:
• Bullet Points - Key points in bullet format
• Detailed Summary - Comprehensive overview
• Action Items - Focus on tasks and next steps
Can I summarize private messages?
Yes! SnapBrief can summarize any channel or direct message conversation that you have access to in Slack.
How many messages can I summarize at once?
You can choose to summarize 2, 5, 10, or 15 recent messages. This setting can be adjusted in your preferences.
Plans & Limits
What are the usage limits?
Free Plan: 3 summaries per day (up to 90 per month)
Plus Plan: No daily limits, 2000 summaries per month with all advanced features
How do I upgrade to Plus?
Visit the SnapBrief App home page and click "🚀 Upgrade to Plus" or go to the plans page to subscribe.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can manage your subscription anytime by clicking "⚙️ Manage Subscription" in the SnapBrief App home page.
Troubleshooting
Why didn't I receive a summary?
This could be due to: reaching your daily limit, insufficient messages in the channel, or temporary system busy. Check your usage status on the App home page.
The summary seems incomplete or inaccurate?
AI summaries work best with substantial conversation content. Try using different summary formats or including more messages for better results.
